Like many in the Rogue Valley, our family moved to Oregon in 2007 with the hope of starting a new life in a friendlier, less-congested environment. Having been a classroom teacher for 19 years, I assumed I'd find work at a local school and go from there. Wow, did God have other plans for our lives!
Stopping in this little music store on G Street led to a conversation about teaching guitar; a few days later I found myself working as an employee of Great Northwest Music Company. Nine months later, my family and I purchased the business from Jim and Deb Pratt, who had started the store in 2000.
In 2023 we moved the store to our present location on K Street, where we are partnering with the Eaden Ballroom to provide our students with more opportunities to perform in a live-music venue.
We thank God every day for the privilege of owning and operating this business! I have never had a harder or better job, and am blessed to do what I love for a living. We love and appreciate our customers - they're why we're here.
